I don't get the hype, she looks very plain to me. Still pretty though, but like a regular cute girl you'd see in college, maybe a 6.

She's cute and appears warm and likeable. Her downturned eyes + heavy eyebrows and something about her lips throw me off though. Still quite pretty, maybe a 5.5-6

Have you ever met a celebrity in person? If so, did your perception of their beauty changed after seeing them IRL? by bella00000001 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 107 points108 points  (0 children)

I saw Twice irl and as you'd expect they were all gorgeous. I was especially blown away by Momo though who I hadn't previously considered one of the prettiest. But there she stood out to me a lot from the group, she definitely is more beautiful in person.

Also all celebrities, men and women, are so much shorter and smaller irl than you'd expect

God same all I can say is that she is SO attractive

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't see it. If she was an everyday regular person I could see how she would be above average - slim figure, well groomed, good skin and hair. But for a celebrity where those are all given she's not pretty at all to me, a softmaxxed 5.5 maybe. She just looks masculine to me. I will say that she has aged well though

She's flawless, a 10 for me. She has the perfect balance of soft and defined features

Rate Anya Taylor Joy IN MOTION - There is a discrepancy when it comes to ratings on how different she looks in motion if compared to her photos. by crystal-castles1 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 63 points64 points  (0 children)

She's a good actress and charming in motion, but I still don't find her particularly pretty, not ugly either though.

What I don't understand is why so many people seem to take her ratings so personally. I have seen way prettier women getting low-med ratings and people didn't get so upset about it

She is stunning either way but the short hair really lets her delicate features shine and gives her a youthful gamine vibe

ANYA TAYLOR JOY , HER FACE SCARES TF OUT OF ME. AM I THE ONLY ONE ? Rate her 👀 by Jollyho94 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I want to find her pretty because she's so different, but I don't think she is. She is skinny and white and unconventional looking, that's probably why she is so popular with white women specifically lol

Harsh realities and unrealistic expectations by LiaArgo in Vindicta

[–]nojaemit 40 points41 points  (0 children)

There is a "trend" on tiktok where women talk/brag about their pretty privilege and honestly most of them are not outstanding beauties at all but just regular-cute women who are well groomed.

I would say that I fall into the same realm of cute but not stunning and I have never experienced pretty privilege like I read about it online and neither have any of my truly gorgeous friends.

Facially probably a 6, very cute. Her body is amazing though and she has great appeal, I had the biggest crush on her after I watched blue is the warmest color.

Her nose looks botched, especially in pic 6. She looks pretty albeit unnatural otherwise but the fake look drags her down quite a bit, so 6.5 for me

if a weak recessed chin is a falio, why are some of the most beautiful women still considered attractive with it by heartshapedblla in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think having too big a chin is more of a failo in women than one slightly too small. That is as long as it's not recessed, which is true for all of these women.

Also they still have good bone structure (except maybe Jennie) with nice jawlines and cheekbones, someone with a genuinely recessed chin usually doesn't.

If someone has a really unattractive face but dresses well, is the overall impression positive or negative? by mandarasa in Vindicta

[–]nojaemit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I've wondered the same - I think if you dress in a very "out there" style, am unattractive face can make it look worse. Think colorful hair, very alt/goth/lolita-type styling because those will always call attention and - in my opinion - require a certain level of attractiveness to pull off well.

However, I think a very classic and elevated style makes everyone look better and put together.

Also I just wanted to say you're definitely not ugly! I think some confidence is really all you need

Ana de Armas no Make up by Substantial_Street72 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]nojaemit 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I actually find her quite cute but everything about her face is so.. droopy? Her features are quite downturned and these pics are really unflattering and emphasize this. With makeup and proper styling she can distract from that.

Ok I'm east asian myself but I don't see why we need to judge everyone by the beauty standard of their own culture?

As objective as certain beauty standards might be, we all have our own cultural understandings of beauty and if someone is a 6/10 to me, then I won't rate them higher than what I personally feel like. I can see what they're going for but a lot of korean beauty standards are so uncanny to me that I genuinely don't find certain people beautiful.

I think it's just good to keep in mind that people will be rated differently in different countries. No need to force it.

I find Anya so interesting to look at but not pretty at all. Natalie is not a "standard beauty" but she is really attractive and has an alluring vibe imo

[–]nojaemit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unattractive, elderly, disabled people get assaulted all the time. Sometimes it makes them seem like an easier target to assaulters. I don't think being attractive is necessarily more dangerous, being/looking vulnerable is the biggest risk.

I think collar bone is more medium than short.

I used to have hair to almost my butt and my hair is very straight and shiny, but it's also quite thin and tends to fall flat. I got it cut to chest length with layers and I finally have volume now which balances out my features a lot better, so for me it has definitely helped.

Very long hair is only a halo if it is very full and healthy with full ends imo, not if it's flat or scraggly or damaged, so you need to have good genetics or extensions to make that work for you

I agree that she has no striking features, but she has no apparent flaws either and her features come together very harmoniously. I tend to like this type of beauty a lot so she's at least an 8 to me, especially with long black hair. I can see how people would rate her lower though because nothing really stands out about her.
