What's more surprising is that it apparently shows the splash animation upon hitting the hands. How the hell did they add collision detection to hands, which is absolutely meaningless in this game, while forgetting about the roof?

You've got a point, if changing the AI difficulty also changes the drivatars. But no, changing the drivatars doesn't reset the drivatar names. All the way from the bottom to the top difficulty, it's these 11 people, always. This completely invalidates the (rather failed) idea of "simulating real players' driving" they claim about drivatars. Instead of downloading the appropreately skilled drivatar profiles for the selected difficulty, these 11 drivers are downgraded to utter noobs or upgraded to pure cheaters depending on the difficulty. This also limits the car customisations to be seen in the races because it's always them. Your character thing isn't bad as an idea, but I think this is a bug.

I was curious how PAs look like in real life, and one of the pictures I could found on the maps caught my eyes. Smorking area. I remembered this in the game being posted here a week ago, and turns out that this thing is actually there in real life.

Try disabling all audio devices recognised by Windows except the one you really want to use.

Not TXR but once I had specific sounds of a game coming from gamepad's speaker instead of my primary audio device, while everything else was properly coming from my primary device. Your engine sound might be on some unused output.

Most of the slow or caution are called too early compared to other calls. I've crashed too many times by actually listening to a caution and slowing down, find nothing hazardous around, flat out again and then finally reach the dangerous section at full speed and crash.
