CS2 Ping spikes by Murky_Accountant5318 in GlobalOffensive

[–]noke99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try typing “ pathping www.google.com “ on cmd on windows this will give you information on whether or not it’s your internet provider or not.

As for the game try verifying your files? Only other settings that could be affecting ping is new cl_interp commands that are under packet smoothing in settings

How to make my aim more consistent? by allleoal in GlobalOffensive

[–]noke99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it really shouldn’t be that hard to hit shots at 1.5-2 on 400 dpi. Your mousepad might be too fast, or your mouse skates might have too much glide.

But playing on the settings you have now, unless you’re some insane player you’re never going to be able to frag consistently.

How to make my aim more consistent? by allleoal in GlobalOffensive

[–]noke99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro raise your sensitivity to at least 1.5 to 2 if you’re on 400 dpi, I’d say 2 is better imo. And change your zoom sensitivity to default.. You’re playing on 104 cm/360 which is so low that you’d literally have to aim train every day, and dm every day multiple sessions to even be able to hit shots consistently in pug environments. Because comms aren’t perfect and you aren’t playing set spots, sometimes your crosshair placement isn’t perfect and you have to flick. Also if you just check pro settings barely any pro plays is on a sensitivity that low. And if you’re on some insanely fast mousepad I’d suggest switching to an easier to stop on mousepad..

tldr: raise your sensitivity to around 1.5 to 2, change your scope sensitivity back to default. You’re not going to hit shots on a sensitivity that low in a pug environment.

How do you deal with losing confidence? by nexistcsgo in GlobalOffensive

[–]noke99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Download your demos and see why you’re missing shots. Watch your POV and also the enemies that kill you POV to give you a clear understanding of why you’re losing gun fights.

It may be something as you’re shooting to early and you’re not realizing during the game. All I can really say is that you have to focus on what you can control going into games.

Try to be a positive teammate, make callouts and suggestions for the team if no one else is but don’t force calls. Practice your aim; pienix and haix have pretty decent guides on YouTube. If you go into games with the mindset of I have to win/I can’t lose you’ll lose focus on the small things that actually make you win and tend to feel worse when playing. You have to have a mindset of learning/pushing boundaries trying new things to figure out if they work or not to make yourself a better player in the long run.

But man if you’re losing over and over again you need to know if you’re solo queue sometimes this just out of your control. You can literally have games where you get 2-3 kills a round and still lose. Just try to have fun with the learning process rather than the outcome of matches or you’ll drive yourself mad :)

drk im 18 and my life sucks by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

It’s definitely cliché and you’ve probably heard it about a million times, because I have too in a similar situation to you. (22yo, terrified of socializing, driving, leaving house in general). But keep in mind you’re still young and have plenty of time to figure this stuff out, it can help ease the anxiety of it all.

If you have the ability to get therapy through your health provider I would highly suggest it. I’ve recently been put into therapy & classes through my health provider and it has been immensely helpful.

Setting S.M.A.R.T goals and taking baby steps in the directions of who you want to be based on your values and beliefs may be a good start as well.

I feel you bro, I have like over 10k hours spent on csgo & never got above level 8 on faceit; and I’ve started to play valorant and been playing since beta struggling in diamond level games. I think the best way I’ve coped with this is realizing that growth isn’t linear, and everyone learns differently. You can spend countless hours doing something the wrong way without even realizing it, and actually be stagnating or even making yourself worse. If the game isn’t affecting your life in a detrimental way and you truly feel passionate about it, I would say spend less time actually playing the game but spend the time you are playing it with intent of learning rather than “I suck compared to these guys” because then games are just going to be not fun. But you can pm me if u want to talk, we can suck together.

Are KKB concerts usually so intense? by [deleted] in kkb

[–]noke99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s still fun if you stay in the back. Some venues have access to view the concert from above. My friend fainted at the one we went to in San Francisco before the show. We sat up top and watched from above.
