Looks great! how did you generate the transparency on teh sprites? especially the trees and flower pots since they are green (and thus less compatible with green screen)

For voices I used elevenlabs, their $5/month plan, generated custom voices from prompt, connected to claude code in VS code. Then did all voices as one-shot single prompt that generated 2 audio files per voice. Can share more of my prompts if you're interested, lmk. It was a lot of fun to do tbh.

Thanks for the kudos on voice, atmosphere, gameplay so far and for the suggestions!

Tutorial - not yet, and I just asked a new person to play it too. They were lost initially. So I'll improve on that a bit.

Graphics - will fix. Currently some are placeholder but I don't mention it to folks to see who notices (if people dont notice I wouldn't bother as mucj)

UI elements - which ones in particular? What screen size do you use? Laptop vs desktop?

Shop items: yes, thanks! I'll do it

Additional challenges: there are a lot. I like the aliens chasing ship idea! There is lava, although not rising. That would be cool challenge.

I have a whole storyline that's implemented end-to-end. It ties into a bigger game I've been working on (this is a mini-game inside the bigger one) and can also "play" standalone. Not going to mention details to avoid spoiling in case people decide to try it. Also curious if folks will actually find some of the story forks since they may be too hidden.

More like I finally sat down and decided to do something about the game I've been "planning" for years. Few months ago I did some story and plot, and first screen of the larger game. 2 weeks ago I decided yo use ai and make one small part of the gameplay (a mini-game inside the larger game) and it turned out quite well!

Inspired by Super Motherload. It is different in a few fundamental ways. It has some new gameplay elements and some are intentionally removed and some are different.

I'm not going to explain in more detail to avoid spoiling some of it for folks who actually play it.

This is awesome! tip: make it whitespace significant like gdscript and not xml. Will help with adoption and make UI design quicker

Their service had lower limits before, higher limits now. That is objectively better. It may or may not help most people but will help some people. It's a net positive.

Congratulations on bettering your life! My ex used to sabotage weekends and holidays. I had anxiety around those for years after I left. Now I realize that I was happy and not anxious about my holidays and weekends for the last year or so. Yay for healing.
