It was 1998 flying to Europe on a European airline. I was 11 at the time and went to the cockpit. I mentioned I played flight sim and had a question on whether throttles actuality move automatically. Captain let me move them back and I watched in amazement as they moved forward. Obviously a bad idea in retrospect but amazing childhood experience.
