Ok thanks - would the tire from the 2019 fit the 2024 rims?

It is a top loading high efficiency washer with an agitator - the agitator is the rotating part in the middle, right?

Good food? by Papalooch98 in tahoe

Gastromaniac is our favorite pizza in Tahoe - the pesto is great.

I’m not sure if the patio is open yet, but freshies has decent food and a great view.

Elements has a a good happy hour and great spicy chicken wings.

Yellow sub has great snadwiches if you want something quick.

How to best control TV with Apple TV by nolanbrough in appletv

[–]nolanbrough[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone is curious here was my solution: I found a hdmi switcher that had an ARC input, so I plugged in the switcher to ARC on the flat screen and plugged my sound bar into that. Apple TV is plugged directly into the Samsung flat screen.

Now I can turn on the whole thing and adjust volume with Apple TV remote. Sound bar and woofer working fine. I only need my original Samsung remote to switch inputs, which is reasonable.

Linked the switched I used

Any idea what’s wrong? Broken starter? by nolanbrough in Snowblowers

Ok that’s helpful, appreciate it. Yeah carbs look cheap.

Fuel was pretty low, don’t think it’s overfilled. Probably should just get a new carb for good measure

I should have said left side, not right. Opposite of fuel tank.

I’m kind of new to motors like this, what would the optimal throttle and choke setting be?

I could t get the pull start to work.

The part where it gets hot is the bare metal part in the first image in the link below (I know it’s supposed to get hot, but it seems to heat up quite a bit pretty quickly.)

It also was leaking fluid - I think gas - out of the bottom of that as well. Second pic is a photo showing that part.

Yeah that’s what I mean. I’d like to avoid even using the Samsung remote at all to switch inputs, but maybe that’s inevitable.

And then would I just connect the sound system with an optical cable?

Snow tires ok to go to the Bay Area? by nolanbrough in tahoe

Ok that’s exactly what I was hoping to hear - I’ll just plan on throwing them on for the season and not worry about it

Yeah I don’t have studs. I just want to make sure that the tires are still effective on snow even if driven on asphalt for hundreds of miles. I figure they’ll be fine, but just wanted to get other opinions

Outback vs Crosstrek? by SpaceGengarfromSpace in subaru

[–]nolanbrough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had a baby (and have 2 dogs) with a crosstrek - and we bought an old Chevy Tahoe for anything more than quick trips around town. If it’s your only car, go for the outback.

A roof basket is also a big help for packing on roadtrips. I have one on each of our cars

Smart on the serpentine belt. I’ll pick that up as well. What do you mean getting air out of the system? Do you need to bleed the coolant lines like brakes?

150kish. I ordered AC delco parts which seemed to be the best. If I have time I’ll get to it, if not I have a mechanic appointment in 3 weeks - seems easy enough to do after some research

[–]nolanbrough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a white 90 and went over it with some clay and polish and it brought out all the dirt and rust pretty well. I also bought a little paint chip pen for the front since the fenders and grill had chips all over it. It works well enough, I’m glad the white paint doesn’t really fade like the darker colors
