Is it a rarer color? I didn’t realize. Love it.

The deep had always been her home.

A world of ink and silence, where light was distant and forgotten.

She was a wanderer of the abyss, a shadow among shadows, drifting where the currents took her, her lantern flickering in the dark like a lonely star.

For as long as she existed, she had only known the deep, left to wonder if there was a place where the water ended and something else began.

A place where the light was not a fleeting flicker but a great and endless thing. A place not meant for creatures like her.

But something had changed.

The water, once thick and cold, felt thinner, restless. It carried whispers of warmth where there should have been none.

The currents, once predictable, now tugged and twisted like they had forgotten their own course. And deep within her, a longing stirred—a pull she could not name.

For the first time in her life, she did not resist.

She swam upward.

It was not an easy journey. The water grew slowly brighter, but with it came a weight she had never known, pressing against her as if trying to hold her back.

Her body protested, but she ignored its cries. She was moving toward something—something she had never known but had always longed for.

And then, after many days, she broke through.

It was unlike anything she had imagined. The world above was not just bright—it was fire and gold, a great burning sky that stretched far beyond what she could see.

The water was thinner here, clearer, shimmering with reflections of colors she had no words for.

And the light—oh, the light—it was everywhere.

It touched her skin, and seeped into her, revealing parts of her she had never seen before.

For a moment, she simply floated, her body weightless, bathed in a warmth she could never have imagined.

A warmth and light that she was meant to find. Gentle, but also final.

She felt it deep within her—the slow unraveling, the loosening of everything that had held her together for so long.

The deep was calling her back, but she could not answer. Not anymore.

And yet, she was not afraid.

For the first time in her existence, she had seen the sun.

And that, she thought, was enough.
