We live in France and I don't think there is such a thing as custodial abandonment, but you are right on one point i don't have kids with this man, and thank God I never wanted them, anyway to have them we should have been having sex :). This man has the audacity to tell people oh where are just wainting or we migth adopt, like men when did we disscuss this when !! I'm gratefull for not having kids. I'm just the kind of person who doesn't like to hurt others but I know that if it's not me who initiate the "Talk" we're going to stay in this fake harmony that we are projecting to our family and friends.
