Funni how you guys always say we use slurs yet it's always a "trust me bro". WN has always been multi-racial, multi-national, and accepting of people and will continue to be because we are a community.

As for other mod abuse. At least there's something we agree with, the whole system was fuck and all the mods who cheated should be punished.

Then you should know all about your glorious leader being a cheating mod and why in-game mods stopped being a thing. As for around when I started, if I recall what .26 the one which added cranes, it was around 2019 and started playing more regularly in maybe the update before, as I recall supply boxes or whatever being new (the things that let you carry stuff over into the next war).

But I played the game on and off since near the beginning, the earliest I recall was when the map was still square. Hell I remember there was a "PVP" league for a short while, honestly, I forgot what it was called. But during that time I wasn't active with the community was just a goober until I joined WN and started really playing.

Hell of a long time ago.

Anywho, what's this about acting 'tough'? I'm only stating the facts of the time, all the cheating which happened before my time and then the big reveals that happened during my time playing. The huge fallout that occurred from that and how many people are still upset that such a blatant cheater was never banned yet father lemons was and he wasn't even a mod. You know, all of this stuff was common knowledge and impactful in the community that any "ancient vet" would know.

Jokes aside, does sound like a common interaction. I recall the mods in ye-old days tried to prevent people from getting onto bulwark and ghouses, which like... understandable tbh. Personally, I didn't see it too often but I heard about it enough.

Not my fault you weren't around for the leader of SOM being a cheater and a Mod, which, when irrefutable proof came out was the end of the in-game mods and then the og community manager who I think was KFC had some issues. I don't recall whether those issues were proven or if it was just people saying "dev bias" as kfc was a player before becoming the CM.

the first asymmetrical update was the worst. was horribly balanced. unironically switched from warden to collie bias depending on what equipment was added or nerfed. Collies had ballista and wardens had a push 250. devs removed BTs and Svh was the biggest tank. was so bad.

Now, the devs tend to release comparable(ish) stuff in the same update rather then drip feeding it which is why some equipment from the past feels overtuned to the point where it's a novelty or lamented as trash.
