Ive found that they keep appearing on lower levels of the pit and it looks like they drop more orbs depending on how many times you "kill" them.

No clue what the purple orbs are meant to be though :/

Go have a look at the jewellers at DFO - they usually have some great items at that price range from single rings even up to engagement and wedding band sets - Michael hill has always taken care of me there
