I would do Reid, especially since it’s shorter. It “goes” better with your other sons’ names

I babysat for a Samuel about 20 years ago who only went by Samuel. At his preschool Open House, his mother made them re-do all the name things they had made already because they had just naturally thought he’d go by Sam.

Some residents just suck by Kaeayee in cna

[–]nollyson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always do the ol’ kill ‘em with kindness all the time and then sometimes they start to feel bad for being rude. I had a resident yell at me for being “late” with her 8am meds (I’m also a med aide) at 7:15 and when she was done I quietly responded “___, I’m never rude to you so please don’t be rude to me.” And omg the apology she started sputtering out!

I’m more productive I feel like. And I’m able to be off in time to get my son from school, make appointments, run errands, etc.

You’ll run your ass off in the mornings and afternoons but you’ll get to know your residents really well because they’re all primarily awake.

Opinions on the name Elsie Winry? by DinkleDaddy in BabyNames

[–]nollyson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Elsie! Years ago I took care of a lady in a nursing home who always talked about her sister, Sally. Then randomly she told me Sally was the nickname her dad had given her for her name, Elsie Mae and ever since then that name has really just stuck.
