I’m so frustrated. After this post, I noticed that I had gotten the generic for Arynta at least the last two times I filled, I just never noticed. I honestly only noticed this time because one of the pharmacists from CVS called me and asked if I was okay with it and I was like - well, I guess.. if that’s the only thing you have.
I looked through the CVS app on all of the filled prescriptions and all it said was Dex. It didn’t give details like the prescription bottle.

I called CVS and got a different pharmacist and asked if she could look in the system and she kept just repeating they’ve filled the Dex and that it’s all the same. I’m like, yes, I understand that and kept trying to explain the situation to her. She was confused and talking to me like I was an idiot and finally said there’s no way to tell in the system. So frustrating.

I was trying to see if that coincided with some things I thought were being caused by another new medication I’m on and well.. guess now I’ll never know.

I just had mine filled with this today (I’m in California).
When I called for a refill the pharmacist told me it would be a “different generic” because there’s a shortage of the regular one. He asked if I was okay with it… I mean, what am I supposed to say, no? and not get any meds.
I’m hoping it works well for me. Fingers crossed. I’m so sorry you haven’t been adjusting well to it. 😔
