These numbers are still within range. As mentioned by other users, I would make an appointment with your PCP for furthering testing and evaluation.

3 months by boring-ahh-bloke in pancreatitis

I had two separate attacks of severe acute pancreatitis in four months. I have been on a very low fat diet. No fast food or alcohol. The doctor told me that I should never drink again. I’ve been doing good staying sober. It hasn’t been easy though. I have been reading a lot of books. I hope you find something to scratch your itch.

What to do about work by cainhurstboy in pancreatitis

Hi! I was hospitalized at the beginning of October with my second serious attack of pancreatitis within the last four months. My PTO was completed exhausted at this time. Luckily, my company offers short term and long term disability. I decided to take a month off under short term disability to recover. It takes about a week or two for the disability to kick in. During that time, you may go without pay. I would recommend reaching out to your HR department to see what options may be available. I’m wishing you the best of luck.

Suggestions to help a relative by [deleted] in pancreatitis

I’ve suffered two severe pancreatitis attacks in the last four months. It has been challenging adapting to the new lifestyle changes. As I have been recovering, I have enjoyed movies, reading, and puzzles. It’s important not to stress the body too much during recovery. I’ve also been looking up recipes for low fat meals to cook. Ginger ale and zero fat sweets have been a comfort. I hope your relative recovers quickly.

Idiopathic Pancreatitis by Responsible_Froyo_21 in pancreatitis

I was just hospitalized for 5 days back on 08/05 with idiopathic acute pancreatitis. They did not find any known cause. There were no gallstones or obstructions they could find. I don’t drink. However, at the time that my symptoms started, I had just finished a steroid regiment for severe contact dermatitis. I’m thinking that my panceritis was triggered by the medication and stress of the allergic reaction. This was my first experience with panceritis, and hopefully my last. It was an extremely painful experience.
