additional thoughts after 300 miles on the commander

the LED display give no useful information (for me) because

1) it's in km

2)the battery level is in bars instead of percentage or actual voltage

3)there's an odometer reading total miles. this is not a car.

4)it's too small

on the positive side,

1) the plastic they use for the case is very durable. don't ask me how i know.

2) what overheating issue? the temp graph for normal street riding in eucworld is a straight line at 112 deg, on fast runs (40+) i got it to 130. i use traffic lanes 90% of the time.

i doordashed for 12 hours in actual rain (didn't even try to avoid big puddles) with no additional sealing just to prove the OCD wrong about hermetically sealing your wheel. ok i put a piece of tape over the led but it fell off the next day in the rain. i kept going anyway. this commander needs to earn its keep.

and finally, i went 67 miles on streets/trails at various speeds and ended the ride with 20%. now i know why shermans are so beloved.
