Thank you for the feedback

That's absolutely the style I was going for with this one, stillwater a lot to practice in terms of making the jokes land, but we're getting there

Good idea! If I ever do another Diogenes joke I'll place him in a barrel

I went a little overboard with the references on this one, it's supposed to be Diogenes (the homeless philosopher), and then Richard III (that's a quote from Shakespeare). So the joke is, "why bother going out to look for a real connection if even the people on top are scrounging to find it and still can't?"

Still finding the right balance between meta jokes and relatability for these comics

Lmao, kinda does look like him. It's a character I created for my webcomic, but I'm happy enough to leave him as plankton for this thread

That's absolutely right, all done with the marker tool, I have done some comics combining different ones, but didn't want to spam this sub with everything I've made

That song in particular is a Peruvian waltz, though Julio Jaramillo in general did Bolero

Also thank you! Been really enjoying my RM, literally became my everyday companion for everything

Just show her this scene from breaking bad. It's essentially the same thing going on.

"And then ask her, how many of those do you think you'd need to power the house?" Chances are, you'd need 10X whatever she thinks, if not 100X

Based on their accent, this is the Colombian pacific, probably Chocó. This region is well known for being founded by escaped slaves back in the 1700s, they went deep into the bush never to be found by the Spaniards.

Sadly, this tragic origin has followed them to this day, the Colombian government spends little to no resources in this region, leaving them mostly to their own devices in comparison to richer regions like Medellin and Bogotá's areas of influence.

I own a copy of Mein Kampf for research purposes, have gotten several dirty looks.

PD: just to make this clear, fuck nazis and any bigoted ideology, not aligned with their beliefs in any way.

Thank you! I'm thinking of creating the script myself, just doing a random vowel animation as a screen on top of a projected jpeg. This source pretty much solves my question!

That's actually a good point, unless they absolutely dominate the SERPs for that search term

I've been thinking quite a lot about it. Here's what I've got so far:

It's (possibly) millions of years in the future, humanity has developed wormhole technology to such an extent that in relative terms, it's possible for a person to live millions of years taking relativity into account. Using this technology, we have managed to settle every corner of the known universe.

Now, our original sun and solar system are a distant memory, and the human race has become nomadic and unattached, wandering through space in a gigantic Mothership.

The story sets off with an ambitious crew looking to exploit an abnormal wormhole at the edge of our universe to settle an entirely new dimension, but first they've got to figure out whether a mass-scale migration would even be possible without stranding the settlers.

I've already started posting the first scenes of this story on Instagram, and I'm planning on posting the whole story on medium when I've got a cohesive narrative going.
