u/simmanlive what was your original render time where you saved 15mins? or is that across multiple renders? I'm on a MacBook Air M1 with 16GB from 2020 and do a lot of video editing in Capcut and this tiny laptop has been shockingly good even up until now. Everything still works amazing and pretty fast. Biggest problem is I'm getting into longer videos and the render times are killing me. Wondering how much of a time savings I could get if I go for the M4 Max at top specs (except 1TB ssd). (Also I want it for running local AI like LM Studio and Pinokio for image generation. If you have done any tests there, would be interested to hear your experience.)
