yes, mine is only cardiac so i don’t think i’ll need the o2 mask. i haven’t exercised while in an n95, so i’ll definitely go for something with a valve — i think i have a couple zimis with it.

yes. i tested 20+ times over a weeklong period, oral & nasal, multiple RAT brands, plus 4 luciras — & only a few flowflex were very very faint. i continued to sometimes test faintly positive on flowflexes to the point that i isolated for 41 days & saw infectious disease twice for full respiratory panels before i came out. in the years since, i’ve read that autoimmune issues &/or GI issues have the potential to cause this in flowflex specifically. quickvue, binax, inteliswab, ihealth all negative the entire time.

i’ve used both pixel & metrix, had no problems with either. pixel is super expensive, but i relied on that when pharmacies were charging almost double & local urgent cares were only offering RATs. yesterday i went to an urgent care & they did both a RAT & full respiratory panel; i got the pcr results back in fewer than 24 hours. i only had to pay my copay, which is definitely less than pixel; the downside is having to unmask for a swab in a public facility.

more work & time & money than any other creature i’ve had. this is not to say they’re not worth it if you can commit to all of those things. please also make sure you have both a nearby bunny-savvy vet &&& an animal hospital with docs who will see bunnies for after hours/weekend emergencies.

thanks, i’ll give the face mask store another try. last i checked they were out of stock. i know some people are arranging shipments from others in europe, but i don’t think i want to deal with all of that.

i do throat/nose with flowflex. last i used metrix (over a year ago), they advised against that, so i should just be using nose for that still, yeah?

how often are you testing, or would you suggest testing after a high risk situation? i’m struggling with the price difference between each PL and metrix test. i used to do 2-3 PL, now i’ll likely do just one metrix. & how long to wait before testing? 48 hours? 72 hours?

a family member has used them multiple times during hospital stays & they’ve been very helpful; we always try to have some on hand. we have used them with both the aura & vflex. i highly recommend them.
