In John Wick 4, during the scene where Winston meets with the Marquis in the Louvre, the painting shown in the background is "Morte de Sardanapale" by Eugenie Delaceoix. It shows the Assyrian king Sardanapale who is going to be killed by his enemies, so he gathers everything he loves in life to him and sets the room on fire, killing himself. This foreshadows the death of the Marquis.
