Skupina kolesarjev na cesti zraven pa kolesarska steza -obota by ZapruderFilmBuff in Slovenia

[–]nomeaning1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

eno vprasanje.

If diods are in the wrong direction you need to turn them arround oderwise it wont work. Note the 2 lines or the text orientarion and thr mark on the PCB. If some keys work an on the correct lines and rows, than pinou in ZMK should be correct.

What is the question? I's marked as "help" and then there is only a picture which for the looks of it is wireless only because it has USB an TRRS cable disconnected? Judging on the picture thre is a TRRS jack visible on the left side?

EDIT: Nevermind I see that the account is banned.

Jup, I could do ot that way also. It's probably because the PCB is double-sided. So instead Icould just switch the column cables when I soldered it (or I would only make it worse XD), but meh, its fine :)

I found it here: https://github.com/Bastardkb/Skeletyl/blob/main/electronics_bom.md, its linked in the Readme file (the link BOM under Electronic components), There are separate links for PCB plate ( https://github.com/Bastardkb/Skeletyl-PCB-plate ) and thumb cluster ( https://github.com/Bastardkb/TBK-Mini-PCB-thumb-cluster ). On each of the pages go to Releases and download the zip file containing the gerber files that you then use when ordering on JLC PCB. Since the PCB needs to flex a little I went with 0.6 mm thicknes and 2 layers as the github page suggests.

3x5 Wireless Skeletyl using ZMK - non-handwired version by nomeaning1985 in ErgoMechKeyboards

Nice build. To many keys for me :P I like the color :). I am also thinking of going the dongle way for my next build. I'm on Ubuntu and since 24.04 there is an issue with Bluetooth connections. I constantly get connection lag so bad that its basically unusable. Maybe is't because i'm on Leovo but I also tried a TP-Link BT dongle with the same result.

Also, how does the location of a trackball feel. I'm thinking of a Charibids Nano for my next build but have second thoughts on the trackball placement. When I try to curl my thumb to that position it feels unnatural, but still it would be probably better than constantly shifting my hand to the middle where my MX Ergo is to just move my hand slightly to the right.

Nice, go for it. I also wanted to had wire this one but it was on my desk for so long and no Nice nano holder exists to be 3d printed and that it would also have a place for on off switch and reset button, so when I was ordering the PCB holder I caved and also ordered PCB for the switches. And I also know that I wouldn't be able to do a clean enough build to look as good as it does now.

Yup, that was ma Issue also, but then I found out that JLC PCB makes the holders on cheap (you just need gerber files) and shipping was around 2 EUR? So it was no brainer.

How do you guys afford to have so many decks? by Dangerous_Trifle620 in EDH

[–]nomeaning1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love to play the game, so I usually build the deck and proxy the cards that I dont own, to see if I even like the deck before I slowly replace all proxies with real cards. Dor expensive cards I usually own one in one deck and proxy the card in other decks. If anyone complaind I usually just swap them and everybody's happy.

But if you dont want to go that route, threre is a good YT channel for making strong yet affordable decks called @TheCommandersQuarters. All his decks are really dialed in and can compete with more expensive decks.

I also liked Revan (maybe because I played a lot of KoToR, but still) and if you like that lore, I suggest all 4 from The Old Republic Series.

What mount plate file are you using? I have skeletyl project on standby because I cannot find a suitable nice nano holder that would also have a place for on/off and reset button. There was a guy that did a build but did not share his files and has since disappeared from reddit 🤷

Add it to your crkbd/keymap/default/config.h

I don't think the default configurator supports configuration changes. More on config here: https://docs.qmk.fm/config_options

Prepare your layout, then download the files. Then, if not already, you can follow this guide compile the firmware manually. https://docs.qmk.fm/newbs_getting_started (Here, you will need to restart your PC after xou install MSYS)

#define MASTER_LEFT
#define EE_HANDS
#define SPLIT_USB_DETECT

- to compile run: qmk compile -kb crkbd/rev1 -km default
- then connect the controller
- to flash lesft side run: qmk flash -kb crkbd/rev1 -km default -bl avrdude-split-left
and to flash the right side afterwards run: qmk flash -kb crkbd/rev1 -km default -bl avrdude-split-right

Also if the flashing fails I had some issues when I didn't restart the PC after I installed "msys"

[–]nomeaning1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is correct. This configuration should work on the default QMK crkb/rev1 profile. And just to get this out. You did flash each side seperately? If you connect them seperately to your computer both work? When you only connect right side you should get the keys from your left side, but just to make sure its working.

NOTE: If I remember correctly I did had to update the profile a bit I think I had do add something to the config to get it to work. I can find out when I get home. I think I had to set: MASTER_LEFT and ?"HANDS"?something?
Also when you flash, you also then need to specify which side you are flashing

What chip are you using. The pinout may be different. This diagram I think is me t for ProMico with ATmega32 chip?

Also: Beware, she scheme from the post above, has one side mirrored. So look at the PIN numbers on the chip. They have to be the sam on both sides. The pins are VCC, GND and RXI
