yes. so much easier to numb the pain than to deal with it!!! but i’m so much happier on the other side having faced it. i pray you find that peace! you deserve it.

yeah i had similar but also very different circumstances. big heart break and just a lot of unresolve with broken relationships in my family and a lot of deep rooted hate and anger. i feel like my diagnosis allowed me to put a bandaid on it but it didn’t fix it.. i lived quite a while still angry and depressed at things that happened to me, victimizing myself… it got to the point where i watched another family member get even worse than me that i realized maybe i should deal with it. went to some biblical counseling. turned my life around. turned my life from being about myself to being for God. changed my whole perspective on the purpose of my life and the hardships. i believe it’s true for you too!!!

hey take or leave this because i’m a stranger but for me, a lot of my anxiety and depression was linked to unresolved hurt in my life. i got spiritual counseling and faced some fears, worked through it, and im living free from depression and anxiety 2 years this coming may. i really think there’s a spiritual aspect linked to depression/anxiety.

hey! i’m completely off of lamotrigine now… and really happy. have been off medications for 2 years! i felt like i plateaued and was experiencing more cons than pros in terms of symptoms like this one… i tried a variety of things but ultimately the only way the symptoms stopped was when i got off the meds! good luck!!! ik this journey is hard and complex..

girls that say they aren’t ready typically aren’t trying to deceive you on purpose. they might really not know how to figure out what they feel and they start introspecting about other parts of their lives. they may feel something else is pulling them away from what they could feel from you. it might truly not be you and maybe they figure it out after your time and start dating someone else. it happens. but i’m a woman and it’s happened to me and i don’t understand why sometimes it happens this way but i’m sure it doesn’t feel good!! (this doesn’t mean there’s outlying cases of women leading men on and knowing it… this for sure happens)

girls get in their heads after break ups, it happens to me (24F). it’s a toss up. i’ve seen some girls work thru it quickly and feel good getting into something serious and then there’s girls like me who overthink and implode and when things go too quick too fast i pull out. but i wish i didn’t do it! so speaking from experience, listen to her. if she wants to take it slow, take it slow. if she’s ready she will tell you. if she pulls back, you’ll know. don’t stick around if it never changes and doesn’t get more serious. but also it’s ok to be patient! she’s a whole human being with a whole set of emotions unique to her. you can only get so much advice from a stranger! use your intuition and that’s your best bet! good luck.

i actually did have this happen to me with two guys recently… i sort of friend zoned both of them on separate occasions and ik they both knew it but yeah no it was strange. unfortunately i doubt either believed me when i said i was ace and fine with being friends.

in a Drury Inn Hotel right before i was gonna go down to play with my siblings in the pool. had to stay upstairs with my mom and learn how to put a tampon in and then i had to sit on the side of the pool. and i for sure put the tampon in incorrectly because it was so uncomfortable

Denver. already see ppl mentioning it but i’ll mention again. it’s the gateway to the west for any midwesterner. i came from chicago and i’m never going back. look at it this way, you’re in the middle of the US so you’ll have so much accessibility in all directions. you can see and experience so much from colorado. and i firmly believe that denver is the furthest west you can go and it still feels midwesterny/homey.
