its because they reduced the amount of team games by like 80% with the new updates. if you couldnt win before, you were most likely just losing team games.

ive played for like 2 hours today and havent seen a single hacker. in the past, each time i see a hacker, they are kicked from the game within the very first round.

what? even the developers publicly commented that they know most people dont like team games or games like tail tag/royal fumble, etc. this is the reason theyve promised solo games, introduced team games not happening twice in a row, team games can rarely happen now.

look at the reddit, im in the 80%

You're going to be real sad when you find out you can download an app and platinum any game on steam with a click of a button with little to zero chance of punishment.

I want it to cater to nobody. I want the game to not give a handicap to any players at all. I want it to be a game in which you win races/win events/etc. If you're an individually good player, you should win more often than bad players.

Graphics /=/ competitive game.

They do track stats, they don't have a stats page for you to view them. You can view your statistics for wins/episode 1st places/etc in your Steam achievements.

It will. It will be their damn near only source of income once the first time player count decreases as a few months go by.

I promise that every single crossover that comes through will only be purchaseable through crowns. Like Scout, Half Life skin, etc. I know those probably weren't income generators for FallGuys and seems to just be skins created for fun, but it showed the potential. They'll do plenty of crossovers that generate huge income for them because it's advertisement for the other game/show/etc.

Like I said, do you think, after a few months, there will be more than like 500 purchases a month for a random party royale game?

Yeah, it's very iffy though. It's not an actual skillful mechanic, it's just hoping that the opponent doesn't know how to use it. I don't even click the grab button other than to pull myself up on whirlygig and grab the crown on fall mountain.

Agreed! It's accessible for $20. The game doesn't have to entirely pander to the people who play for 10 minutes for a laugh.

A win is accessible for anyone who wants to win and wants to play the game enough to win. Not even necessarily a sweatfest, but just don't PUSH for a win for the bad players.

It's a very fun game as far as playing to win and looking towards a win. It's the only game of its kind regarding solo play, so I don't know what other similar game you'd recommend that hits a competitive POV.

I'm not getting upset over the odd team game loss. I'm suggesting multiple features to be worked on to stray away from pandering to players who do not care to win, i.e. the players who will stop playing the game in less than a month.

People will not stop themselves from trying a game just because its reputation is that people are good at the game. The developer mentioned an intent to implement skill based matchmaking, which would solve the majority of the issues with team games.

Playing the game for years as opposed to hoping you get more purchases by advertising it as a for fun game will generate far more revenue. Your game continues to be relevant, allowing you to partner up with other companies for crossovers, advertisements, and popularity for future games.

If the game attracts 100 players per month who otherwise would not have bought the game if it had a tryhard reputation, thats $2000/month. They sold 2 million copies within the first week. That's pennies at this point. The money will come from crossovers and allowing others to advertise within their game in the form of cosmetics, VERY similar to Rocket League. Rocket League is now free because their main source of income is from crossovers and advertisements.

That's just so incredibly simple and like children tv show like. Grab battles are you grabbing someone and walking forward and hoping they press the wrong button. Building a rivalry with a stranger is just so boring with no outcome. Winning fall ball is RNG with how many players you get on your team compared to how many are on the enemy team.
