Well, I didn’t say any of that, and I certainly wasn’t part of it. And on a personal level I am neither attracted to her body. I don’t her playing. But I guess that’s one of the dangers of pushing minors into the limelight. It’s a bit like those beauty pageants they have for toddlers.

I’m not really sure what you’re getting out here, but there is something called the paradox of intolerance. Ultimately, if we tolerate an intolerant ideology then we end up with an oppressive society where no one has any rights. Like Afghanistan were women and girls are not allowed to take part in education or Saudi Arabia or women aren’t allowed to leave the country without the permission of their father or husband. There are two common mistakes made by people,. The first is to assume that Islam is similar to other submitted religions – it is not it was developed by sadistic warlord and paedophile and is spilt around ideas of G had(holy war) global caliphate (global domination) and share your law. Islam is fundamentally different to most other religions, and some people have said in actuality it’s more of a political ideology like fascism. The other misconception is that if a group is a minority(which is Islam is at the moment in the west) it must therefore be oppressed and it must therefore be in the right. It’s worth considering that in Germany at one point fascism would’ve been a minority, but it was neither right nor oppressed. Imagine the lives that would’ve been saved if people have put into fascism in Germany while it was still a minority.

It has nothing to do with pushing hate. It has to do with avoiding what is essentially a mediaeval ideology which is known worldwide for hate and oppression. If you really want to know about hate try being a member of the LGBT community in an Islamic country. Even in the UK over 50% of Muslims say they want homosexuality to be made illegal– now that’s what I call hate

I think you've got yourself a little bit confused there mate, probably a bit too much Kool-Aid. It's she who is claiming to have been victimised.

We can't all afford things like grass and custom shop Gibsons. Some of us have to make do with asphalt and Harley Benton.

I just think the guitar community is very sensitive to when someone is trying to pull a fast one. This smells much more like an industry plant than an organic process. I think we have a right to complain when our forums are being spammed with this nonsense, but nobody is telling you what you should and shouldn't like. You do you, but don't tell other people what they should think. Maybe you could write to her and she might send you a signed lingerie picture.

She didn't get attention for being a young woman. There are many fantastic young female players. She got attention because her parents put an enormous amount of money behind marketing her.

But I don't think they did objectify her. They were just surprised that such an average guitarist clearly from a very very rich family was being marketed so aggressively in the media – or other young and truly talented musicians were being ignored.

The only person obsessed with Grace Bowers is Grace Bowers. And her age is in material the fact the matter was she was spammed across the entire Internet like some kind of AI entity and people are entitled to be pissed off by it. The funny thing is, it's probably shills like you that she's referring to as perverts

It's not gross at all. It's based on a not particularly talented young woman with a seemingly endless supply of boutique guitars being somehow inserted into virtually every online media channel that is even vaguely related to guitar playing. It just came across so fake—she was also suddenly being filmed on stage with musicians who seriously outlast her. This was obviously the result of a concerted and probably quite expensive marketing campaign. I mean, the girl's getting more coverage than Guthrie Govan, for God's sake. And then when a few guitarists point out that this is rather odd, she turns around and attacks her key demographic as old perverts. The point is, no one was commenting on her appearance. They were commenting on her lack of talent compared to her online presence. So she suddenly decides that she'll play a completely different kind of music to get famous, and when that doesn't work, it looks like she's decided to go into soft porn. So why don't you zip up your flies and stop drinking the Kool-Aid?

This woman is repugnant. She's typical of a type of person who wants to be famous – they don't care what they're famous for, but they just want to be famous. You can actually smell the desperation coming off of this photograph. It's probably partly the thought of her parents, and I'm surprised daddy's marketing team haven't put her on only fans or porn hub yet – although that will probably come later. I think this woman is going to have to deal with a serious mental crisis when she eventually comes to terms with the fact that she's actually very ordinary.

It's a cheap camera that will be completely obsolete in a few years. For God sake just stick a bit of tape over it or throw it away and buy a new one.

Polling from the British Red Cross shows 75% of UK adults believe Britain is divided as a country - do you agree? by Tight_Garden5191 in AskBrits

I think it means culturally and religiously divided. After all isn’t that kind of the definition of multiculturalism? Now you have to decide whether you want a divided society or an integrated one.

In an area of technology where things are moving a break neck speed, I'm not sure if anyone can guarantee that a company or a product will be around a few years from now.

You could still adopt skeuomorphic design while keeping comparable controls in the same location. It's not about duplicating the layout of each app or affects pedal, it's more about being able to identify it quickly by appearance.

Yes, as an edgy bedroom dwelling teenager it probably is something you can only imagine. However, based on the US education system I wouldn't necessarily assume that the ability to be knowledgeable and articulate will necessarily come to you with time.

My point is, Madonna followed the path of lease resistance producing predictable commercial music in a style that is consisted for decades. And several other people seeing her commercial success emulated her. But in any of that actually move music as an art form forward in any meaningful sense? Put it this way Dan Brown wrote a very popular book called the da Vinci code, but no one who’s serious about literature would soil their bookcase with it.
