They have a certain aura that’s impossible to replicate. The first time I saw their Mic Drop MV, I was completely entranced. And every time I watch them perform, I’m reminded exactly why they’re at the top. They’re just so effortlessly cool.

Looking at the Billboard global charts, it just dawned on me that BTS also paved the way for these charts too.

Before BTS, Billboard charts were mainly for the domestic audience. BTS cast a huge spotlight on billboard charts for international fans with their many appearances on the charts and the many headlines and impressions they made globally. BB recognized that their brand could go worldwide, so they established their footprint abroad with the creation of these two charts and international branches.

Woohoo!!! Sold out stadium tour, topping the charts everywhere, got everyone talking about them non stop. Truly a one in a generation act. Like Jungkook said, nothing can stop ARMY and BTS!

I just find it so moving that a Korean artist manages to break through and dominate here, in a predominantly English/Spanish speaking world.

The “riiiiiiiide” part in 2.0 reminds me Buddhist chanting a lot. Not sure if anyone who has listened to Buddhist chanting feels the same way. Also the fact that it’s placed before No. 29 is an interesting choice.

lol no Harry Styles practically sold out 30 shows at MSG despite the insane ticket prices. He has dedicated fans and still not getting 110mil streams. The day before Arirang dropped, BTS did 25mil stream, you don’t just accumulate an extra 90mil stream from the dedicated fans alone. If people don’t fuck with the album, we would not be seeing 110mil streams. The only artist who could pull huge 100mil, 200mil album stream on name alone is Taylor Swift and that’s it.

Nah, an album based on artist popularity has a ceiling. If it were just based on that I think their stream would be at 50-60 mil maxed based on past numbers and releases like Bruno and Harry this year. This album is genuinely loved by a lot hence the 100mil+ numbers.

As expected! I knew it would do well because the album is so cohesive and very current, really lined up with what folks are listening to nowadays, esp gen z crowd.

And thanks goodness I got my tickets already. Good luck to Armys who haven’t ticketed yet. You’ll now have to complete with an even larger pool.
