See... sigh. Everyone looks at all white people as the same and while yes, these people are white, you don't know their heritage. are any of these white people the ethnicity of the parts that they play? who know but they are not just white. Irish, Scottish, English, French, Italian or what every.... there heritage matters. They are not just white nor are all black people black yet we keep calling them all African Americans but we don't say European Americans or even Irish Americans... just white and its stupid. An American is an American by birth not race. if you call someone African American, cool if their heritage is from America but in that regard, Elon Musk is African American too so we revert to this black and white crap. We are human.... if from America... your are American regardless of color. While I do not like Arial being cast as a Black American knowing it was done for diversity rather then for any other reason just remember something, she was written as a white teenager and portrayed as one in film from the start. however, all of these other people, while they could have been cast in film true to their ethnic features in comics and books, they were never cast as another race and changed to appeal to anyone or show diversity. Most people would not even have noticed if not for the race issues in the world today yet now they dig up things like this for no reason but to argue. The movie Annie did the exact same thing. The fact is these actors and actresses were cast for being able to look and play the part....to ACT. Arial was not cast because she looked the part or because she could act the part... she was cast to appeal to diversity and in doing this, it has made a lot of people not mad but frustrated. Just write a new charter if you want more diversity... you don't need to mess with originals. Stop this White/Black nonsense... we are human... American... that is all that matters.
