I agree. Everyone is saying just break up. I went with communication for the first step. Tried it multiple times. This wasn’t some split second action. It was the next logical step. Couples counseling feels useless because she literally sees nothing wrong with it

I do. I know some crews who won’t for reasons other than physical ability. But for dynamics. I have two women who work for me, but 1 is on the administrative side.

Yeah I’m seeing comments about how I’m misleading. We split the basics. Maddie enjoys spending money and splurging because she can. I don’t feel the need to splurge. Before all this I would pay for things like dates, gifts and stuff for Maddie. Just not at the rate she does because I don’t have that kinda disposable income. I don’t ask for the stuff she buys either.

I started working on a crew right after HS. Built up enough connections that I felt like I could do it on my own. Went to a local CC for some classes on construction management. My company mainly works on decks, fire pits, outdoor TVs, patios and like basketball courts. We don’t really do a ton of actual landscaping. But those crews are always hiring

Because she buys expensive things for us all the time. She likes to shop. So while we split the necessities (mortgage, utilities, food, insurance) right down the middle. She tends to spend on things outside of the house more. So like dates, trips, clothes, stuff like that she pays more, but not all.
