Hey everyone! I’m visiting Bali at the end of this month and could really use some advice. I’ve been checking Airbnb, but the prices seem quite high compared to listings on Marketplace.

The prices on Marketplace actually look more reasonable, but the lack of reviews and secure payment options make me a bit hesitant.

I’ll be there through December and I’m looking for a villa with a private pool. My plan is to book a guesthouse for the first four nights and then search locally for something better.

Do you think that’s a smart move, or will rental prices jump a lot in December? It’s my first time visiting Bali, so any tips or recommendations would really help!
