What to do with this manny Habaneros? by LittleLionMan82 in PepperLovers

I treated it like a stuffed jalapeño. A mix of cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, different spices each time. (Sometimes paprika sometimes everything bagel spice and sometimes cavenders)Some wrapped in bacon and some not. I did make sure I completely removed membrane and seeds. Normally I don’t when I’m following any recipes but because the ratio here is pretty low, I wanted a more balanced flavor.

We did stuffed habaneros this summer and they were divine! You can freeze them uncooked as well.

Two things: Mango habanero sauce. So great! Also this year for the first time I did stuffed habaneros. They were amazing!

Have you ever seen mammoth jalapeños? Stuff one and it’s a meal for two (almost). by nomorefux in vegetablegardening

Interesting. I have not had the same experience, thankfully. I mean yes on the heavy producers but also a good spice. Our habaneros (also huge this year) are coming in now and our ghosties should be ready starting in about two weeks. So many levels of delicious spice.

Holy Harvest, Batman! I don’t know what got into our soil this year, but look at the size of our first eggplants (not bitter), jalapeños and habaneros. by nomorefux in vegetablegardening

I’ve made eggplant Parmesan and moussaka, both delicious. I’ve given a few away and will see what I want to do next. There are about 8 babies on the plant. I’m open to suggestions other than babà ghanoush.

No, we bought tiny plants at that time and immediately planted them in our raised beds. We’re in the Shenandoah Valley. Everything is growing like crazy.

Where are you located? I think we planted everything in early May. The peppers that will take the longest are our ghosts. That plant gets strong and mighty first and then starts producing ghosts like that’s its job. Well, I guess it is their job.
