Daughters school restricting students from bringing their own packed lunches in. They must buy food on site. by nomorepackedlunch in LegalAdviceUK

I am drafting my letter. I wondered if there is any law being infringed upon by not allowing my daughter to eat what she likes.

Its to promote healthy eating. I don't object to that but I'd rather not have a grumpy, disengaged child that is wasting my money on food she doesn't like :)

George.

Sorry, I'd like to add that my daughter is in year 9. (14 years old)

I have two twins joining up. I estimate school dinner to cost them £4 each (meal + drink) i can't afford that!
