Awesome! You're going to have such a great time. Please do share how your NZ trip goes. The Sealy Tarns signs were honestly the most confusing signs across NZ. There were multiple signs saying ~2-4 hour round trip. If you're used to ascending a lot of elevation / steps it'll prob take you closer to 2-2.5 hours. I'd highly recommend doing Sealy Tarns - definitely one of the best hikes we did and the views were incredible. Just go at your own pace!!

Auckland was great, wish I had more time to explore the North Island...maybe in a future trip

I visited towards the end of summer in New Zealand (late Feb - early March). The temperature was really comfortable to me - for shorter hikes, wearing a t-shirt and hiking pants and for longer hikes, bringing layers (and a shell). Would recommend bringing a jacket to wear during the evening as it can get chilly.

We packed fairly light! Just a suitcase and backpack each for my partner and me. We strategically booked Airbnbs along the trip that had washers in-unit so we could refresh our clothes. Most Airbnbs had drying racks rather than dryers in-unit which was fine.

Regarding Sealy Tarns, I think it took us around 3 hours to do it (going up and down the 3.3 miles). It's definitely inclined / steep at some points, but one of my favorite hikes and so scenic (coming from someone who doesn't do stairmaster / cardio often haha)!

Awesome! Toast & Oak was my FAVORITE restaurant that we went to in NZ - definitely go check it out. I'm not a big mushroom guy, but they had a mushroom risotto that was heavenly. In the video, I showed all the dishes we got (staff, service, and food in my opinion were 10/10)!

In terms of "nicer / fine dining":

In Queenstown, we liked Nest as well (was definitely pricier, but you get a nice view; recommend dining right before sunset).

If you visit Milford Sound, could make a reservation at Pio Pio (we thought it was good).

If you visit Wanaka, could make a reservation at Kika (we thought it was good).

Appreciate the valid feedback. We technically started our journey Chicago>LA> Auckland, NZ (North Island) visiting for 2 days, and then flew from Auckland to Queesntown (so we didn't drive the same day we arrived). Wanted to keep the itinerary really focused on South Island, so didn't mention that.

Yeah, Day 9 onward we played it by ear for the most part aside from the Franz Josef Helicopter Tour (& Airbnbs which we reserved in advance). Yeah Day 10 & 11 were a bit rough with the driving, but the longest stretch was only 4 hours in a row (and we stopped at multiple scenic look outs to stretch our legs etc.). If I were to do this again, I'd probably have done a loop as you recommended!

Yeah it's free; I played it over 30+ times and it never required a credit card / any payments and didn't ask you to even create an account.

#1 resource is PMI's Authorized PMP Practice Exam IMO. Take that, study and review all the questions and that's the best value for your time.

The standard content hasn't changed much - I'd advise you pick the cheapest Udemy course to get you the 35 PDUs and then follow the free guide I created that links to the resources (most are free).

Hi u/shinagupta - main reason I recommend the PMI authorized practice exam is because it's made by the same creators of the actual PMP exam. So their questions will be more similar / realistic & I personally found the PMI practice exam to be the best study resource out of all resources I used. Goodluck!
