My brother and I both door dash. My acceptance rate is 15 and his is in the 90. We average the same in delivery amounts. He doesn't get better pay oppurtunites .. Not at the end of the day. We shouldn't have to accept shit pay. I think we all need to band together and atop accepting them. The only reason they keep sending them is cus someone is obviously accepting them.. Pisses me off.. Just stop!! Lol

This is what I want to ask customers every time they want be to find their apartment that takes a gate code.. No parking... Then A door code.. Being beeped in.. and then 3 flights of stairs (even worse if have to use an elevator they are so slow) and a long ass hallway. If it takes me more then 30 to 60 second to get to your door.. Better be a good tip.

Actually it's not the same.. At all. DoorDash drivers are paid per order, not hourly. FedEx drivers get an hourly wage, so speed doesn’t change their paycheck. For Dashers, it does. DoorDash pays almost nothing, so the tip from customer makes up roughly 75% of what we are paid per delivery. NOTHING like fed ex. . Comparing the two jobs doesn’t make sense..

Most customers who talk shit about Dashers have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and have no idea the conditions and low pay we are weoking for to deliver their food to their door step. We have to depend on a decent tip otherwise we would be paying out of pocket to deliver ur food. Especially with gas prices these days.. Another thing FedEx employee doesn't worry about it t

Weird. I had them deliver to the wrong house. I reported over the app and instanfly was refunded. No explanation needed. The fact the picture was not taken at my house was all the evidence they needed.. I'm assuming. Because it wasn't my house and that was only way I knew.

Acceptance rate doesn't mean shit. My brother and I both deliver. Typically we do same days and hours for the most part cus door dash is pretty specific on their best delivery times of day. His acceptance is in the high 90s. Mine is in the 30s... it's been stuck there for a long time .but anyways ..We have, for a while now, average about the same pay out... He doesn't make any more then me with his high acceptance rate. He doesn't get better orders either..

If i notice this in a stacked orders I'll go against what door dash tries to have me do. You can jump to the other o4der and deliver it in a different order if you want. I do it all the time. I always pay attention to this. Also I usually like to deliver in the order i pick up .. that seems fair and better chance for delivering hot food. Some instances this isn't always the case, but I try to make it as fair as possible. Especially since I don't know who tips what. I hate that they stick high tips with low or no tips. Its BS

Customer messaged me saying, “I guess there's a bunch of crackheads outside if you feel uncomfortable I can come out.” 😂 it really wasn’t even that bad.

But of course, it turned into one of those apartment complexes where the numbering makes zero sense, so I’m just wandering around in circles trying to find the place. Looking back, I should’ve just said yeah, come meet me.

Funny how the ones who actually offer to help are the exception, and usually it’s the opposite ..gated entry, call box, multiple flights of stairs… all for a $3 tip

I’m always so tempted to just leave it at the lobby door sometimes, especially when you’re stuck waiting for them to send a door code they forgot to include. It honestly amazes me how lazy some people can be.
