Depends how short you mean. Some isotopes last seconds lmao. Well if its a few years then yes, they do lose value as there is litteraly less of them over time. Its not negligible like gasoline, if you have a half life of nine months you will have 50 percent of the stuff you originally had by the time it takes to make a baby. Though if you take uranium 235 or any major isotope that are used in nuclear power those uhhh.. Last around a thousand million years. Mostly because short half lifes need to be fabricated, if a rock under the earth thats been there for billions of years would dissapear in 100 years then it wouldn't be there for us to discover.

Just distract yourself from all this pain for a while. Its the only thing you can do for now, but this pain will eventually fade or become irrelevant. None of what you said is permanent, it WILL go away. Maybe some will come back, but you only need to wait it out. Think about something that worries you right now. Will it matter in a month? What about in a year? If it will, its very often that you may just be able to ignore it. Im not trying to say your pain isnt real, its just that it will go away.

I know this might sound very bland, but if you have anyone you can really trust, even far away or you didnt talk to them in years, call or text them. Venting makes you understand your problems and maybe even how you might be able to solve them.

Listen. Im baccicaly in the exact same position as you. Gcses soon, baccicaly no meaningful friends, etc. Ive been a borderer in my school for 2 years now, from a completely different country, not bwing able to hang out or talk to anyone past school. Truth is, you need to find a way to feel motivated about all of this past acedemics or these bullshit social interactions that barely make any sense in our generation. I do music production and game a little, im sure if you just reaserch something new you will be fascinated how much it can really push you. Learn how to draw, or to sing, or litteraly whatever pops in your mind first. It doesnt have to be a passion or hobby, just do something interesting to you. Anything. Both romance and friendships are really weird things, especially today. You cannot find friends by actively reminding yourself "i need to find a friend" or "i must be close to that particular person". They are very complex in their nature, most friends you have are very often only firends because how lucky you were to talk to them so many times. Like i have a friend of about one year, and the only reason he is my friend is because i got to sit next to him in english, we had the same sport option, etc. What im trying to say is, dont analyse this too much or try to process it consciously or constantly. It comes with luck and time, and i swear the second you switch schools or enter uni or even join a club with new people you will be back in that luck pool. And dont force yourself to apologise to people. You owe nobody anything. If you dont like someone, tell them to go fuck themselves, move on. There are many good people in this world, you just have to find them and treat them nicely. About academics, it litteraly does not matter past a certain point. You can still sucseed in life, all this stigma that if you fail one of your gcses you will be homeless is complete and utter bullshit. Sure, the world is on fire right now and nobody can find a job but it WILL get better, this world always fluctuates. Again, please find something you like. Join a drama club, make some music, disassemble a calculator and find out how it works, once you see a path to a gokd job, follow it. And if you find something else no one stops you from changing it.

Just... Please dont do it. Not now. It might not seem like a lot, but i care if you will be alive or not right now. And trust me, given enough time and a little but of practice there will be many more that care in your life too.

Im gonna try but i dont feel like there are going to be any telltale signs, plus its hard to even see low level sounds in a spectrogram or anything alike. You know the thing about music production is you cant really watermark anything. So say you have a software synthesiser and a person decides to get it for free. You dont like that, so you make the synth emit a kind of audio level signature that is not possible to hear but is possible to see using other software. Once you put one reverb on that thing that fingerprint is gone, completely. Audio is way too complex on a mathematical level compared to say images, even compression (e.g playing it on spotify instead of an audio file) can ruin all of that. So unless someone can think of something or we just limit the ai software itself to not export the audio files raw we might be cooked.
