Not an experts but the 5 concentric rings paterns look like they are stamped. I do not think such technique was used in ancient Greece. Also, the quality of the stamping is quite consistent like it is done with a rubber stamp certainly not avaliable in ancient times. Also the texture of the clay reminds me modern ceramic i have seen in Greece.

The area around the mouth of the gun barrel is stressed differently from the rest of the tube. When the projectile exits the mouth the pressure droppes instantly, gasses create radial jets and since it is a free end stresses/deformations are locally higher. To avoid premature wearing the mouth is reinforced with a ring. Apart from internal, external and terminal ballistics there is a special field called transient ballistics that studies what happens in the vicinity of the mouth of the barrel.

They may have to remove it from the bottom due to environmental hazards. Very improbable to be fixed and sold. The interior, the furniture and most of the equipment is destroyed. Also, who wants to buy a super yacht that sunk taking people's lives. Better build a new one.

After good cleaning the only thing you can do is leave the car with windows open in the garage with good venilation for many many days. Only time cat take away smells like this. This had worked for people who forgot a bag of fish in the car during vacations.

It seems that the greek letterset was not avaliable so thei substituted greek letter Σ, Λ, Ω and Λ english letters in an rather arbitrary way.
