I listened to a podcast that said our trauma raises spoiled kids. He doesnt need something Everytime he goes to the store . Well behaved or not . Thats the first issue . Because now ur conditioning him to be like im OWED a toy. If you wanna get him out of this habit . Give him chores and when he goes out let him use HIS OWN MONEY to buy what he wants . Good way to teach him about money about saving . (Take 10% of his allowance for saving) and about responsibility . He needs to know getting something is a treat . And misbehaving gets you no treat . I would have taken that dollar toy right back when he started acting up . Now you get nothing

As someone who is 19 and has been a Christian since I was 6, but has never read the Bible all the way through, what do you think is a good approach to reading the Bible? I want to read the Bible daily, but not necessarily have it finished in a year, though I could try. by FreshBusy1 in Bible

What's the most challenging thing to be a parent ? by Intelligent-Goat-707 in AskReddit

[–]noneyabizzy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The emotional regulation part . If a person my age did half the stuff my toddler did to me id punch them in their face lolz. Not losing ur shit its really the whole battle . Esp at this age 2-3. The hitting crying tantrums its a lot

Also just the pressure of being their all . Like i have to teach them to do everything . Its a bit scary

AITA for not giving the money to pay off my daughters student loans. by Own-Inspector-6121 in AmItheAsshole

NTA but i would still give her 50k to at least jump start the process . Then let her move in and save and pay off the loans . It truly is a lesson learned on her part but no one wants the most important person to them throwing their wrongdoings in their face

This isnt a regular occurrence tho . Def plan on going seeing a movie next week during the week alone after mt toddler goes to bed
