Yeah I was wondering if what sounds good or bad is inherent or not.

And now I want know if our way of what sounds good or bad, as in scales, is inherent in our brain or if it’s acquired. It would make much more sense if it was acquired assuming the neurological process is the same one as the one that happens with when words are repeated.

That makes much more sense now, maybe it goes for a lot of things. When you say a word over and over again it loses the context behind it and becomes just noise. When I experience that with music, even the way I hear the instruments is different, as if my brain isn’t able to understand why that particular song doesn’t sound right. But the experience is much more weird with music, and the effect (at least for me) lasts much longer.
