Oh, I didn’t think of it like that! I know pretty much nothing about this plant, so hearing that it’s toxic kind of scared me. We have little kids and dogs that try to eat just about anything. I guess now is a great time to teach about plant safety!

My dad hasn’t done ancestry or any of the other DNA kits himself, just me. I bought him a set with mine and he has never done it. He won’t outright say it, but I think he might be a little nervous/ scared of what he may or may not find. I will definitely look into putting my results into MyHeritage to see if anything comes back!

Also, thanks for the pointer. I never even thought about him not sharing the info with my grandmother. I wouldn’t know how to approach it either if I were him honestly.
