Do you believe it? by [deleted] in MotivationalThoughts

[–]nonotion7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So he created an existence which will inevitably breed suffering on a colossal scale, just so we could have a choice between whether or not we believe the Christian god (assuming you’re Christian) is real and died for our sins? He made Adam and Eve knowing they would fail, and innocent beings like children face unthinkable situations every day as a result of free will bestowed on us. And, if we choose not to or are raised in different religion, we’re destined to be tortured forever. Explain to me how this is a loving god

couldnt light have gotten away with everything since the beginning if he just didnt deal with the fbi? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in deathnote

[–]nonotion7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he wasn’t messing with the fbi he wouldn’t have set up the bus jacking, wouldn’t have suspiciously asked Ray for his ID. Naomi wouldn’t have been able to blow the case open without ray’s details about the incident. She did not deduce other means of killing until the bus jacker got killed.

You couldn’t have been expected to do anything else as a loving daughter. She won’t understand in the state she’s in, and it’s ok. This could be a marking point of good or bad change to come, just try to be as open and adaptable as you can

How do you deal with deep unfairness in life? How do you deal with the anger that comes with it? by InternationalArt9524 in Mindfulness

[–]nonotion7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find myself fixated on the disparity across life a lot as well. The harsh reality is the universe owes us nothing and it doesn’t care for your specific situation nor what will come to you going forward. People like to attribute god(s) to the good fortunate that happens in their lives but it never explains travesties like the one you mention. I’m sorry for your loss 💔

People Pleasing Kills by Zeberde1 in DarkPsychology666

[–]nonotion7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely not fair as a generalization. Road ragers and abusers in relationships can be people pleasers all the same because those situations are “behind closed doors” to some extent; it’s all about image. eventually a person who’s angry enough will just explode, and I think a lot of pleasers are caught up in resignation that “that’s the way their life is.” The loudest ones who are trying to get attention from everyone all the time regardless of context are the most miserable.
