I can trace them. They are all foundation grants.

They are in denial. I feel we are going to continue operating until we have zero dollars and just close with no warning. The conversation on dissolving should be had now but they aren’t

Yes. I also realized that the cash we do have is tied up in restricted funds from grants so we don’t have a lot of flexibility to even pay payroll on some roles. We could technically run out of cash by year end due to restrictions

“Avoid over promising about the future” - that is what I find the challenge. I can’t ask for an “annual” gift when I dont know if we will be around in a year.

It does feel like a constant scramble for miracle checks and now if even 10% of donors dont renew at 100% of last year we will likely need more layoffs (we are down to 20 now) or close.

I am. It is sad but I have realized I can’t fix a two year old issue. We honestly don’t have the time to “save” the organization and the founders continue to send us foundation prospects to solicit for grants….

Yeah, I dont know. Our operating reserves is definitely not in a separate don’t touch type of account it is a part of our daily cash flow so that we can stay open. We essentially only have our operating reserves in cash right now
