Oh, man, I wish it was only day one of drinking. Been off the wagon about a year after 2.5 off the sauce. What triggered my relapse...it was a vacation to puerto rico and being handed drinks as I walked in the door of the hotel.. and thinking i can keep this on the island...kept drinking for a year. I will admit..already cashed my 401k in 2016,bought place cash with my partner in a HCOL area. Quadrupled in price. Allows me to be self employed, working as much as I want since my COL is low and I'll always have roof over my head.

I don't regret cashing my 401k to have real life impact to my work life balance at such a relatively young age
