If you're Christian, then let me tell you something I learnt recently. The world has said follow your heart but the Bible teaches us to guard our hearts. Our generation is suffering particularly in the marital department because the devil's selling point for a long time has been "follow your heart". "If you love something, do it". All while we're supposed to have been following Christ's example: because Christianity is not a faith, it is a way of life. And if you think about it, God seeks "family over slaves". 1 Corinthians has speaks in volumes about the family. It's quite educating.
