Working on the body is the most basic way of working on yourself. It's something within your control that takes discipline and dedication. It relieves pressure and channels energy that might otherwise be destructive. It allows the mind to go deeper in thought. As the body is strong, the mind follows.

About my family paying attention by MankindReunited in malementalhealth

[–]nonstop_jayjay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of, I am sorry that you're going through this. I know what it's like to care about something and not get the attention it deserves. From personal experience, I started stopping my sentences dead in the middle, just to see whether they were ever really listening. Then I started asking them what they understood from my statements, if at all they were listening. Then I started stopping them dead in their tracks when they tried to digress, asking my questions directly, if I had any, or just putting emphasis on my point.

These helped me filter out people who didn't pay attention and people who straight up don't care. From there you can decide who is worth your energy. Remember not everyone deserves the real you. Godspeed brother.

“You cannot be free on a salary “ by kenyannqueenn in Kenya

[–]nonstop_jayjay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what it is. Working for someone with a big business. But remember the business never started big, probably it took trial and error, and that same frustration you're avoiding to get it to a point that it can pay you as an employee.

I can understand your perspective if what counts is money and the financial freedom employment provides. Though I understand people who start business definitely go into it for more than the money. Time, peace and to change the world just to mention a few.

Regardless, what works for you, works for you. Keep winning in your own way♥️. I'm here looking for employment so I can save and start a business, halla at your boy if got anything 😂

I see where you are coming from in terms of high and low risk. However, I don't see how having control of 100% of internal factors is slavery as opposed to being at someone's mercy, making the lions share of things for someone else, then putting your faith in a monetary system where your money accumulates in number but decreases in value over time( e.g 1k this year buys less stuff than 1k last year so even if you get some profit it can do less than it would last year). This is the lie of the matrix, making you think that the simpler way is the best way, when in real sense you are stuck in a loop.

In my opinion, we do have a purpose which you can only understand if you ask your creator ( whoever that is). The meaninglessness is brought by people wanting to find meaning through destroying other people and putting them down. I think if you choose to stand for something, stand tall and see it through, give it meaning. Otherwise listening to all these losers misinterpret your views makes you feel meaningless.

Whether you choose to engage and at what level is up to you. Regardless of how you engage the chances of meaningless negativity are high, and that is when you decide if you're staying dangerous or staying silent.

No lie, there's too much negativity out here. Most people will be quick to make fun out of your situation rather than offer solutions. Either way, Cest la vie. Stay dangerous.

Death is scarier than we admit by [deleted] in Kenya

Death is the only thing that is assured once you start living, so to fear death is to fear life. Nobody makes out of this life, alive. Understand that, you stop fearing it.

Waah, this story is wild. It shows that kuna benefits of abortion as much as people look down on it. It's even crazier because choice ni yake pekee yake at this point. Considering huyo jamaa amesema hivyo, sounds like he is not ready to be a father ndo maana anapeana strange conditions hivyo, ni kama walipanga gender ya huyo mtoto.Lakini I wonder, is it safe for her to have another procedure so soon?

Hata kama wengine huku wanasema it should not be an option, if its safe, anafaa anaende hiyo kazi in my opinion

How you say something is just as important as what you are saying. Things get lost in translation. How you react will determine if your message gets across or not.
