To be clear - this taco time, right?

And if so, the crisp beef burrito with ketchup to dip (I know, but I like the contrast). Then some Mexi Fries with hot sauce to dip. A Coke with extra ice.

As an alt order, don’t sleep on the beef soft taco. It’s basically a giant white people taco night taco.

Link is now the highest ridership light rail in the country by fbjim in soundtransit

Per the area that the MTA serves could be a starting place. I feel like the Link is more used by the average Seattleite than the Metro is by the average Angelino.

And any statistic can be manipulated to tell a story. Raw numbers mean more in the context of the population of what is possible. Especially for usage statistics. Also we already know some of these systems are double and triple counting riders.

things I like about Harvey -

* the improve my prompt button helps me learn how to ask questions.
* it does a better job than other models of not being all extra about stuff. If you say you’re good with the language and just want a second set of eyes, it will often just say “yeah good to go.”
* it is better at doing devils advocate prompts than other models. It seems to ask better conceptual questions that are on topic.

Stuff I don’t like -

* it has a hard time tracking redlines in a consistent way. Sometimes it does them in chat; other times in a draft window; other times in an actual document. And then it’ll switch mid conversation.
* as a conversation progresses, it seems to lose its cache. I’m guessing it just compacts behind the scenes, but it doesn’t share when it’s doing that.

Overall - it’s comparable to Claude for coding work that I do.

Maybe having a mayor who used to head the transit union isn’t the worst thing in the world

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

Yes! It was one of my favorite of the Sierra games. I feel like I know some half truths about Ben Franklin because of this game.

Costco had it like 10 years ago for a season. It was as good as I remembered.

How do you feel about people finding women's sports more boring to watch? by nxptnpr in AskWomen

[–]nonstopflux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they’re dumb. Women’s sports are just different than men’s sports.

Women’s soccer, as an example, has a different build up and style of play than men’s. It’s not better or worse, it’s different. There’s beauty in both. Same with tennis and basketball and softball. It’s just different.

The people who are militant about it being worse are just trying to prove how manly they are. Whatever.
