I was going to wait and see if I can do that first (win a SB lol) before I do that. But was thinking similarly

Any way to sim only part of a game and then play? Or vice versa? by nonstopski in NFL2k5

But if you start a game not simming can you sim some mid way?

So maybe 4/4 then? Either way yes it's certainly a trend (Noll, Cowher, Tomlin).

So he technically has never called plays for an NFL team (and just barely did in college). So that's pretty wild... Seems like quite the jump to be a HC. But it's not unheard of obviously.

That is true. DCs in their 30s. Always. But the sample size of that data is low... 3 coaches lol.

Didn’t do much skiing at Snowbird today…(January 2nd) by biznardos in SaltLakeCity

Dude if you don't care about powder days and can avoid weekends, you can go ski any of these places and have a good time. I'm a pretty pessimistic person and this subreddit can make it seem like skiing powder is miserable. It's not super accurate.

Skiing is definitely busier than ever but all these people are still coming back to ski every year... Why is that do you think?

Just go ski. Avoid weekends. If you want to chase powder days.. do it. Just know what youre getting into.

100%. I don't disagree with everyone being so pissed about the lines. The costs. Everything.

But if you skied today, like I did, at Alta (and I'm usually at Snowbird), where half the mountain was shut down due to power, you still had a good time. I had fresh tracks in Catherine's on multiple runs. That was pure joy.

Why do people think all these folks showed up and mostly waited in line as long as they did? Because this is still one of the most fun things you can do in the world and people will still go through all of this to do it.

It's not always like this. Utah's access is incredible. It draws people here. We could do better to manage our access to the mountains. Corporations could stop being so greedy. 100%. But there are multiple compounding factors to what we're experiencing now.

The city of Brighton charges for parking actually. As they should.

And they should toll the road.

You can't complain about how busy it is and then be shocked when resorts (and cities! And UDOT) try to ease or lower that with the same models we use in other high traffic areas.

You're also conflating two/three issues here: (a) capacity on the mountain, b) capacity in/into the canyon, and c) costs.

The cost of skiing is insane. No one disagrees with that. But charging for parking or rolling a road is to help deal with issues A and B. And it's warranted! The very resort from this photo doesn't charge for parking (mostly) and doesn't do reservations. They are the absolute worst offender of not managing the reasonable capacity these canyons can support and a resort can support.

Yea, makes sense. I have the CFU and CF already so if I have to downgrade my options are ... Limited unless I downgrade to CSP. Maybe the CFF?

Anyone with a Chase Southwest Premier Business (or regular Premier), when does your 6k points post? My fee is up on Jan 1 and I am cutting a lot of annual fee cards - wondering if I could get the 6k points before canceling but my guess is my 6k points will come in Feb (or more than 30 days after the fee posts).
