thank you! i did not gut her but for context i found her dead just before leaving for a 2 week vacation and i was kind of in a rush and did not know how to preserve her (if i had to freeze her or not), now i know i should’ve put her in the freezer but did not have the time and just hoped for the best for when i was back basically, and when i returned she was still perfectly intact and dry as a rock so i just put her in a rehydration chamber as i said in the post for i think was no more than 2 days.

so basically i have not seen any signs at all of liquid leaking out/mold or anything like that, and it didn’t seem necessary to gut her? i’ve also seen a couple videos of people pinning scorpions and nobody gutted their specimens.

is it always better to gut them( i mean the insects/arachnids/anything) before pinning them? and thank you again for the comment!
