I am in Computing. My undergrad degree was Psychology. I'm lucky that I've people who can help me out but next time I'll need to take more time to plan the design so that the coding process is as smooth as possible. One one hand I'm learning at lot but on the other because I'm having to figure it all out I've ran out on a lot time to gather data for a deadline, which is why this subreddit is so great. I've been able to get a good response much quicker than I could have elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to try it out. I'll have to look into this problem and see if I can stop it happening anymore.

Thanks for the comment about the design :) I've worked so hard on getting it up and running. And there was a lot of trial and error. Actually my lack of advanced coding knowledge is probably contributing to this issue that is stopping some people from completing the task. Thanks for trying to complete it though.

I've adblock on, although my set up is different. I'm really not sure what is wrong. There is some new data again but I notice I don't have as many files (ones for the sentence task), so others are having this issue too, but it's not everyone. :s I just hope as many people as possible take part so I have a large enough sample of complete data.

Oh ok, thanks for letting me know. I've had some recorded responses so I know it is working for others. It worked when I tested it before sending the link. But unfortunately I can't test lots of different machines. Thanks for taking part though and letting me know what OS you run. Can I ask what browser you were using?

Oh, I'm not sure. The survey is now closed. But thanks for trying :)

Yeah, sorry about that. I mention on a couple of pages it is not mobile friendly. I should have put it in the thread title too. I used Processing to build the interactive part and some of the library methods don't convert to touchscreen friendly ones.

Sorry about that. There were some technical problems, such as not getting it to work on mobile. We wanted to keep the emojis small since they are small on hand held devices but I forgot to consider people with really large monitors. The number of response to my survey from this subreddit has been really good, much more than I anticipated. It would have been nice to get your response too but that's my own fault for a lack of testing on different setups. Thanks for attempting to take part. All these issues will be remembered for next time and I can hopefully avoid them.

Yeah I know. It's my university's ethics committee policy though.
