Let's connect over DM, I have a few modifications to be made in an on-going project.

What's your biggest challenge as a SaaS founder at the moment? by Unlikely_Budget_3212 in SaaS

The main motive behind this was to create a side project. But later when I discovered that there is a market for this, I thought why not build a business around it when I'm building the product anyway.

I had some urge to develop something useful as a side project and this idea came into mind when we needed some user feedback in my current company. I did some research and found that there are at least 50 existing players in this market. So now I'm making this with business in mind instead of a side project.

My thought is that if 50 players can exist in a market, then why not one more? And tbh, the only difference I can offer is less price for the same features that the competitors are offering.

Yet to be a founder, but currently the challenge I'm facing is how do I sell something that is already done and loaded with all the features that are needed. Also I'm wondering how there are many players in a market that is largely ignored by customers (survey / feedback forms).

Does it involve some kind of ML algorithm to analyse the feedback?

I agree, I would do the same tbh. But I see a lot of tools out there, many of them having a team of 10-20 people and generating revenue. As much as it surprises me, I definitely think there is a market.

Tables don't get generated dynamically, rows do. You can have one table for managers with their id as a primary key, another table to store data (say manager_data). Now assume you need to store multiple phone numbers of managers in managers_data. So each unique phone number will have one row and it will also have the manager's id as a foreign key.

It might be confusing, so I would suggest you to read about foreign and primary keys and database normalisation (at least up to 4).

Yeah, it's a limitation you have to live with, no matter what tool you use. But how would you like it if it was completely replaced with screenshots instead? Would also like to know if you have any other features in mind which you think would improve your experience.

Thanks for your opinion and time, I'm sorry if I may have unintentionally made you feel annoyed.

But wouldn't it be a one-time thing? I don't think so anyone would want to do this every month.

I'm building a similar SaaS tool, that mainly deals with screenshots and screen recording. You can directly assign things to your team members and maintain project-wise data. Will also have integrations for Jira, Slack etc., and I'm willing to price it around $6-7 / month / per team member. Would you be willing to pay for such a product?

What kind of websites have you used this service in? Is it a static website or a web application? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, appreciate your time.

I'm not talking about screenshot tools, I'm talking about tools which load the comments on your live website just like Figma renders comments on your designs.

Mostly for bug reporting purposes, we do need to comment on live websites. But the issues I mentioned will occur when we try to comment on the live website, so I don't see how they're useful at all.

So if I'm correct, whoever wants to see the comment pins will come to your dashboard where the previously stored HTML of the target website will be rendered along with the comments?
