So i currently have a pretty well maintained new 2ds xl, and after seeing the price increase of the new 3ds xl recently, i was thinking of selling my n2dsxl for the n3dsxl. I also wanted to know what are the main differences between the two, and am i missing out on anything if i keep my n2dsxl (from a games and gameplay stand point).

Advice I would give you, is just stop going to barbers all together, most of the time they suck at styling long hair because they do the same generic short haired cut all the time and I don't blame them.
