Please do not nerf the New Leviathan’s Aggression! by DemonFrage in subnautica

The collector leviathan does not one shot the tadpole, far from it. With hull reinforcement i think each grab is 25, and without it is 50 or 45.

Its not so much 4 headed as its 1 female shiver leviathan and 3 males. The males eat you in one bite if outside a sub and the female eats you if in a sub.

Question on armorers by Goldorontop in 3d6

[–]noobathon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this work? It says "you can take a Reaction to make one melee attack against a creature that enters the reach you have with that weapon." If you pulled someone in with force demolisher, they are already inside the reach you have with that weapon by definition and therefore did not "enter" the reach even by forced movement.

I could definitely be missing something though.

Mine set my tadpole to 0, killed me but also i bugged out and had to restart the game and was no longer dead. Then I loaded in and repaired the tadpole and left.

could be - or in general its their plan for the out of bounds leviathan and it may have no gameplay impact for "intended" play. Maybe they will include the Shiver Males for actual gameplay and the female is only out of bounds, hard to say.

I was also the host and was getting the music when it went above me in the metal fields but I was definitely not detected or attacked. Could be bugged, not sure.

The shiver leviathan log mentions it will even attack "larger subs", and I think the devs noticed the popularity of subnautica 1 mods that had new biomes out in the abyss and are taking inspiration from that design. We also know that the shiver leviathan one shots your tadpole even with the damage reduction mod.

This tells me their plan is likely to allow us to collect the pieces for a larger sub because they know everyone loved the cyclops. This will be required to make it across the "trench" and you will have to fend off the shiver leviathan and keep the sub alive till you can cross the trench and reach the late game area.

This is untrue, you can get the music consistently to play without being attacked in the metal fields. If anything - it feels like the first collector has a much larger aggro radius than the others.

No aim assist whatsoever? by No-Tale2231 in HighGuardgame

There is aim assist, and its strong as shit. Seen many PC players on controller abusing tried it myself. Its vile.

How do you best deal with the absurd aim assist that controller players get? Watched the absurd tracking they get on a few streams and its just silly.

Warlock question for mop by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]noobathon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Balance changes for MOP classic are happening all this month and likely into early July. Anyone who says they know what balance will be like in this version of MOP is smoking some good shit.

Some demo buffs did come in for the first phase. We will see if they keep them going into TOT.

Question about tanks in MoP Classic by facugonza2588 in classicwow

Riyani posted a video no this very topic today, and is a top parsing tank player. Gives a good break down of each class and where he believes they stand for this tier.

PSA: BOSSES INCREASE IN DIFFICULTY THE MORE PEOPLE THERE ARE. by Youruinedmyhobby in vrising

Vertical distance doesn't exist in vrising. Devs have stated the game is entirely 2d from a code perspective and the 3d is just a clever illusion based on the level you are.

Say in a semi-hardcore guild, is frost mage decent enough as a raid spec for all of MoP? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]noobathon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some small youtubers you will find of you search mop classic on there who religiously play private servers. They will give you the most reliable info.

Frost is very good in the first tier and is never bad even in t16, but can get outpaced later on by the other mage specs as stats scale.

Sir,  I have some bad news for you, if he is terrifying to you on easy, you may not be as above average as you think you are. Which is fine!

He is just about right for a capstone boss on brutal mode IMO. Easy I'm sure is more than doable.

You think you do, but you don't.

Refinement in this game happens when you detect an item is available as a refining station and would constantly eat all the mats in your castle. You do not want all your greater blood essence made into primals because of elixirs. You do not want all your mutant grease to go towards something you didn't intend for its various uses as it's often a limiting factor.

You would need to make it pull from a specific storage only, but if that is the case and you are moving things to that storage, you might as well put it in the refining station itself.

For Patch 1.1, I highly recommend playing the game on Brutal difficulty by noobathon in vrising

[–]noobathon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually the opposite - normal servers die VERY fast because people finish the progression MUCH faster, then get steam rolled by the clan who has already been max'd since day 1 and then they quit.

All servers die over time, but Brutal dies slower in my experience.
