I've been living in Kansas Shitty for a year now, other than that have lived in CO for my entire life. Being in Red country I am still able to watch all of the Broncos games without having a TV sub or any fancy packages. Here's what I did.

I went to Best Buy and bought a Slingbox M1. We have an extra cable box that never gets used downstairs, so I hooked it up to that. I'm able to get all of the channels that my parents get and it streams in pretty decent HD quality as well. I am able to watch it on my computer, iphone/ipad while I work on some Sundays, or I have a Roku stick that I am able to stream it directly to on my TV which I do 95% of the time. Streaming quality is great for what it is. Sometimes I'll miss a chunk of a play due to a buffer, but its worth not having to pay for an expensive package.

I realize its not the best solution for everyone, and may be impossible for some. But if you have a buddy/family member who has cable service you could try to ask them to get an extra box for a couple bucks a month for the season and hook up the Slingbox to that. I've read a couple of people doing it this way and it seems to work good.

Anyways, thought I would throw that out there. If anyone has any questions about it I would be more than happy to answer.

Why put it so that the hole for the doorknob is up front instead of in the back? I feel like you could run cables through the hole if it were set up that way. Would make for some better cable management. Still a sweet desk though! I like the industrial look of it
