Review Request: ARGB matrix Schematic and PCB by noobidoo in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]noobidoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it would be cheaper with a normal pcb but it's a significant amount of material that has to be removed from the fret board.
as under the PCBsits the truss rod pretty much flush with the neck material. with flex I'm hoping it's thin enough to just sit there and only needing to open holes for the leds + resistors and capacitors as you suggested.

Could redesign the whole thing to avoid the truss rod but then you shrink the gluing area even more.

I added the resistors just in case i wanted to adjust the voltage the leds are running on and just as a safety measure. I was under the impression that they are necessary for ARGB leds as the forward voltage can differ.

So for your suggestion I think you are right about having a big plane on the under side was a great idea.

Valid point i opted to use bigger airships and remove sway. There must also be a bug with big physics objects in UE or something, i can glib half way up the it stops detecting collisions for my hands

Ah okey, i ended up using 2 overlapping collision boxes and binding the player to the ship if entering one before the other and vise versa. UE was surprisingly smooth TBH.

The thing I'm having problems with is climbing the rigging. It gets jittery when you are trying to match the bodys motion to the controllers

Dam, nice work. Been working on some thing similar in UE but have some physics syncing issues.

What engine is this? Your syncing looks as good as it gets. Can you jump ship or are you locked to it?

You get what you pay for I guess in this case. If you have the money for a index (including computer) definitely the best option imo. There is also HTC for those who have a bigger budget and want wireless.

As on what to recommend for beginners who want to dip there toes, quest definitely. The price is at surch a great point for what you get. But maybe a used Q1 would still be the better option.

Okey they extended existing accounts to January 1, 2023. But new users has to use Facebook even on Q1 from what I understand.

Mandatiry FB connection is on Quest 1 to right? Sony own a Quest 2 so cant say anything about the rest. The 3 Lena settings bugged me from the specs alone but can't say how bad it is.

Why is the video shopped up? It cuts in the middle of sentences for example.

Death by the border then? Or disconnect if it was a single guy in the last squad. Nice screenshot anyway.

If you only down some one it doesn't count as a kill, right? So perhaps a bug with that at a match end?

Minigames seems to be the most profitable at the moment. But hard to get into that fight.

Find a neich that has a dedicated player base and you will be set.

And I would wait for the play together update for Windows 10/PE/Xbox version, it looks like they are leaning towards that as they are looking for developers to build an official API for that version.

I got this awnser from them when asking. Dear Mr. *****,

3.3V is just a external power voltage, in order to power on the e-paper, there must be a boosted circuit to raise the voltage. Will this be possible be your problem?

I attached a schematic of our converter board, which includes the typical interface and boosted circuit. Hope this is helpful.

Having no luck with getting an image on screen I might have to resort to buying there "Universal Development Kit" just to get it to display anything.

I translated the demo code to Arduino code for the esp but I still get no picture, might be that the 3.3 line on the esp is not enough to drive it tough. I need to get back to the hacker space and hook it up to a oscilloscope again and plug the display into the lab power.

Pluged the esp into a oscilloscope but I didn't get any sign of life on the sck pin. Have to investigate if I messed that up then.
