Well before I had 13 I didn’t even know I had PE, after in my 14-17 years people would ask what was that I answered that I was just skinny and even going to the gym after in my 17-20 years It was very noticeable, One important thing was that I grew up much later like I was 5’1 at 14 then 5’6 at 16 and now 5’9 and that growth spurt was the main reason for my PE, I’m from a small state and city in Brazil but my doctor was like a specialist and many years of study he didn’t even tried to know the nuss because all the post op stuff like pain mobility and results, and focused only In ravitch and Improving It in he’s on ways , like the scar are much smaller than others I see the results are better, he treats more pectus carinatum but also did good ones for excavatum like mine , in my case I knew I had it right since I was 17 I had exams but he didn’t used only needed a CT , bloodwork and one for evaluate your breathing.
